Cookie Policy
Last updated: 28 April 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website operators. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels.
2. How We Use Cookies
Zanda uses a minimal set of cookies that are necessary for the Service to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies. Our approach is simple: we only use cookies that directly serve your experience on the platform.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Maintains your logged-in session so you don’t have to sign in on every page. This is essential for the Service to work. | Session / 30 days | Essential |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks during authentication. | Session | Essential |
| next-auth.callback-url | Remembers where to redirect you after signing in. | Session | Essential |
| cf_clearance | Set by Cloudflare after you pass a security challenge. Confirms you are a legitimate visitor, not a bot. | Up to 12 months | Security |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare bot management cookie. Helps distinguish between humans and automated traffic. | 30 minutes | Security |
4. Third-Party Cookies
We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on our login and signup forms. Turnstile may set cookies to verify that visitors are human. Cloudflare processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising-related cookies or tracking technologies.
5. Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential and security cookies, disabling them may prevent the Service from functioning correctly. If you wish to manage cookies, you can do so through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies from specific or all websites.
Instructions for common browsers: in Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies. In Firefox, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data. In Edge, go to Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions.
Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.
6. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Service may use browser local storage to cache non-sensitive UI preferences such as sidebar collapse state and theme preferences. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or change how we use existing ones. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we will implement a cookie consent mechanism before setting them.
